Camera light never turns on. Camera not in the list of devices in setup window.
Relaunch VSee Messenger.
Make sure the camera is connected properly to the computer.
Check again that your camera is selected correctly in the Audio and Camera Setup window.
Use alternative video software (e.g. Skype, Facetime) to confirm that the chosen camera is working. If this step fails, it is likely that the problem is due to your camera being faulty somehow. Please try to find another camera to test with.
Another option is to update / install the proper drivers.
Camera light is on even before VSee Messenger starts
Exit VSee Messenger. Check if the camera light is still on. If still on, the camera is already in use by other applications.
Make sure you close any video-related applications running.
No other application is using the camera but still no video
Please contact us at support@vsee.com. Please include as many details about the steps you've taken, and include the model of your device and camera.
Temporary workaround: Exit VSee Messenger. Install and run virtual camera / camera splitter softwares like Manycam (It should show your video. Otherwise, select as an input stream). Launch VSee Messenger and select Manycam as video source input.
You can see your video but not the video of the other person
Both parties should try restarting VSee Messenger and resume the call. This often resolves the issue.
If you cannot see the video image from another user, while they can see themselves on their end, it generally means that there has been some kind of network issue that has disrupted the video stream.
